Multi-lock systems are essentially doors that have four locks; on the top, bottom, and on both sides. This is dangerous in the event of a fire or other emergency because they are extremely difficult to open.

As a result, Harlem Doors technicians removed the doors of the two-family house and installed approved 90-minute fire-rated (fireproof) doors in their place. Now the doors are in line with the Fire Department’s code but still protect the premises from fire damage.
